College Update

Lonely Ben checking in here...

So the update on the money makers I put on Noah's site is that so far today we have made $1.85 for the college fund.... not to bad! At this rate he will have $55 a month put into his college fund and by the time he is 18 it will be $11,880. So if we factor in the rate of college increases, he should be able to by a weeks worth of lunches with that much money.

Maybe I should try to go on a publicity stunt and make Noah out as the first kid to have every single aspect of his life blogged! He could be famous at 8 months old. Just hope I can keep it up.

I am about to head down to "the river house" and help Mom and Don put in a parquet floor in the upstairs bedroom. So don't expect much over the next few days.

But until then...here is your moment of zen:

Bored

So since Sherry and Noah are up in Norfolk, I have decided to make some updates the the blog. I added some ads that you guys can click on to help us pay for Noah's college. The more you click on them the more money we make so do it at least once a day and share our site with your friends.

Sherry also posted some pictures of our trip on my Yahoo Photos site (since Flickr keeps limiting us).

I will try to post some other pictures that are currently only on computers or cameras this weekend while Noah is away.

So I know I say this a lot, but NOAH IS BIG. He is just so big. When I got up this morning I was having a need to see him, so I walked into his room and it is just amazing to see how long he is and how much of the crib he now takes up. He can cruise, he can crawl really fast on all types of surfaces. It is just really amazing to think how much he is learning and growing, and how fast it all happens.

Maybe I should stop trying so hard to teach him the next developmental step... but then again I need to start training him for his NFL career.

Home Again, just for a minute

Noah Key West
Originally uploaded by beebe4.
We made it back safely on Saturday from our vacation in Marathon Key. We spent most of the week relaxing in the sun and hanging out with friends. We did go deep sea fishing one day- which promptly resulted in Sherry getting sick. We also went snorkeling and took a day trip to Key West. Leigh was a huge help and Noah really enjoyed her company. She even took him to the dolphin research center (right next to our house) to watch the dolphins perform.
Dad left for Atlanta on Tuesday and will return Wednesday night.
Mom and Noah are headed to Virginia on Thursday - they'll return on Monday.
Boy, it is busy around here! Check out the vacation pictures on flickr.

We are headed to Marathon Key this weekend for a week long vacation- it should be a lot of fun! As you can tell from the photo, Noah is ready! We bought him these glasses to wear while he's lounging by the pool at the rental house. He has 4 complete teeth now and regularly sleeps through the night. Aunt Leigh has been in town all week spending some QT with Noah. She's even coming with us on vacation next week. We'll post plenty of pictures when we return!

Crawling with Tevas on

Here is a video of Noah crawling with his Tevas on. I don't think he really likes them, as he likes to stand on his tippy toes (that is when we help him into a standing postion and hold his hands). This was right before he went to the "Go-ci-toe" (aka Grocery Store) with us and then he was off to the Art Show with Mom and Bebe (not to be confused with Beebe).

Busy...Busy

Day at the Zoo

Sorry we haven't been too good with posting recently, we've been (and are) busy!
Noah's cousins, Taylor and Caitlin, came to visit last week. We went to the beach and to the zoo while we were here. Turns out that the Jacksonville Zoo is pretty nice! Noah didn't seem to notice the animals... but he enjoyed being strolled around outside.
Noah also has mastered the skill of crawling. He can go pretty much anywhere he pleases and can get into the sitting position on his own.
Noah can also wave!! He moves his entire arm and up and down, but we think it qualifies as a wave. He has 3.5 teeth (one has not quite broken through).
So basically it has been such an eventful month that we haven't had time to blog about it! I posted a few pics on flickr, so check them out.
Dad's out of town for the week, so we'll try to post pictures and updates!
