Lily turns one!

We're only a month late posting the details from Lily's first birthday! 

 But first she was 11 months!

 We went with an owl theme for her birthday party and the cakes turned out great!  We had some family and friends over for the afternoon the celebrate.  Lily didn't quite know what to make of everywhere there to celebrate her! 

 She was pretty excited to see the princess hat we had for her. Although she wasn't interested in wearing it! 

 Lots of little people there to show Lily how birthday parties are done!

She loved the icing on her cake.  She never even made it to the inside of the cake.  She figured out that she could dip her paci in the icing and suck on it!   Happy Birthday Lily!

Batman Celebration

Jude had his 5th birthday celebration on Saturday. He was so excited to have some of his friends over to play and eat cake!

Both boys had soccer games that morning, so we rushed home to get everything set up. Luckily, Aunt Shelley and Uncle Mike were in town to help. Jude helped set up for the party and packed all of the goody bags for his friends.

He was most excited about the cake! They kids spent the afternoon playing outside: a little soccer, some Superhero bingo and duck-duck-goose. It was a great birthday!

Party of Five...

Lily made her arrival on April 30, 2012- just as she was expected to. Sherry was induced again on her due date because we were expecting another good sized baby! Lily turned out to be our smallest baby, weighing in at 8 pounds, 2 ounces. Noah and Jude came to meet her shortly after she arrived and have been in love ever since. Noah has forgotten all of his "I don't want a sister" business and has been such a great big brother. Jude is still working on being gentle, but overall it has been a smooth transition so far. Lily is a pretty sweet baby....although I think we will all be thankful when she starts sleeping for longer stretches at night. She's already growing quickly though, she was up to 8 pounds, 13 ounces at her 2 week appointment!

Everybody loves to bowl!

Noah requested a bowling party this year! It was our first time having a birthday party somewhere besides our home and it turned out great. All of the kids had fun bowling, eating cupcakes and playing in the arcade.



Noah's big present came from all of his aunts and uncles- he got a basketball hoop. He has really developed a love for basketball and he could not be more excited to have a real hoop of his own.

Noah turns 6!

Noah turned 6 on Wednesday! It's hard to believe that he is already such a big boy, but with his missing top tooth he sure looks like a 6 year old! He took cookies in to school to share with all of his classmates and Mom ate lunch with him. We continued with our tradition of getting to pick where to eat on your birthday, and Noah picked Chuck E. Cheese's for dinner. He asked Mom to pick Chuck E. Cheese next month for her birthday too.

Jude is 4!

We're a little late on this, but Jude turned 4 earlier this month! He shared a Star Wars birthday party with his friend Eli and we rented a big bounce house for all of the kids. It rained almost all day, but the kids didn't seem to mind bouncing in the rain!









Jude also got to pick where we went for dinner on his birthday. He chose Chuck E. Cheese's!

Happy Birthday Noah!

It rained all day Saturday, but that didn't stop us from throwing Noah his Spider-Man party!



Noah has been eying this Spider-Man cake at Publix for about 6 months. Every time we walked near the bakery, he would check to see if it was still on display. He was so excited that he could have it for his birthday!



The rain prevented us from playing outside, so we made up a game of "pin the spider on the web". It went over pretty well with the 3-5 year old crowd.





The cake turned out to be even more amazing then we were expecting- you could wind it up and then Spider-Man swung around the building. Noah was a little afraid of getting hit by Spider-Man, but he finally blew out his candles.





Thanks to everyone that celebrated with us, Noah had a fantastic day. And we have more Legos than we know what to do with!! :)
