Happy Thanksgiving 2012

We celebrated Thanksgiving with the McDonald family at Grandma's house. Aunt Leigh and Uncle Frank drove down from Alabama and visited for a few days. It was a great holiday and Lily's first Thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful for! Noah decided to dress up as a pilgrim for the day.
The weather was perfect and we got to enjoy dinner outside at Grandma's house.
Lily enjoyed hanging outside and watching the big kids (and maybe some adults) play baseball and kickball all afternoon!
Aunt Leigh got plenty of quality time with Lily.
Thanks Grandma and Papa for hosting us!

Fall Soccer

We finished up another successful soccer season today. It was Jude's first season and Ben coached his team. It was Noah's first season with referees and keeping score- it was challenging, but fun! It was a little hard juggling both boys games and Lily, but we managed!

Lily: 6 months

Lily went in for her six month check up last month and weighed in at 15 pounds, 3 ounces (20%). Our smallest baby, by far! She is 27 inches long though, so she is keeping up in the height department. She is finally sleeping through the night, going to bed around 6:30 and not waking to eat until around 5. She is on a great daytime routine, taking 3 predictable naps a day. She has started to eat some solids and can almost sit up.

Halloween 2012

We celebrated Halloween last night by having a few friends over for dinner, then we headed out to trick-or-treat around the block. I tried to get creative with the food...
Jude and Noah both started out as Ninjas. Jude promptly fell (or was pushed, depending on who you ask)into the pool! He didn't seem to mind having to change into an old Spiderman costume.
Lily was a lady bug for her first Halloween. She stayed up for the party, but didn't make it far trick-or-treating. She was more than ready for bed!
All of the big kids had fun and got plenty of candy!
