Best Quote from our Holiday Travels

Jack: Can I come in?

Sherry: Just a second please

Jack: (entering room) What’s that noise?

Sherry: (pulling towel over body) It’s a pump

Jack: For what?

Sherry: To get milk for Baby Jude

Jack: Ha Ha, that’s weird

Sherry: Yes, I know

Jack: So, you mean you are like a gas station?

Ben: OK Jack, time to go!

Christmas 2007

We had a great Christmas! First, we celebrated with Noah on Saturday and let him open his big gifts at home. He got a new table and chair set that he loves! We took our first flight with Jude on Sunday to visit family in Virginia- he and Noah were angels! It was a bit hectic getting checked in with all of our luggage and then going through security, but once we made it on the plane everything was great. Jude slept the entire time and Noah watched the Polar Express. We spent the next few days going between family member's houses, exchanging presents and eating lots of great food. Everyone enjoyed meeting Jude and he was equally excited to meet all of them. We had dessert and opened a few presents on Christmas Eve at Shelley and Mike's house. Christmas morning we were at Shawn and Regina's house opening gifts with Noah, Jack, Emma and Jude. Christmas night we had dinner at Shawn and Regina's in their newly furnished dining room. We managed to get all of our gifts back in our suitcases and flew home early Thursday morning. It was a wonderful Christmas and we were thankful to spend it with friends and family!

Santa Claus is coming to town

Noah is very excited about Santa coming to visit. We took Noah and Jude to a winter wonderland display and he got to visit with Santa. Ben had trained him beforehand to tell Santa what he wanted for Christmas: world peace.

Santa and Showman

Having Fun!
Originally uploaded by beebe4
We are busy getting ready for Santa to come visit. We've been doing lots of shopping, wrapping presents and preparing for Christmas. Noah absolutely loves those inflatable snowmen (or showmen in Noah talk) and he sits at our dining room window and watches the one across the street as soon as it gets dark each evening. Heather and Brad were kind enough to buy Noah is own Showman family to put in our front yard. Now we don't have to walk him across the street to say goodnight to the Showman each night- thanks Heather and Brad!
Jude is getting bigger each day. He smiles most of the time and loves to be talked to. We go to the park each afternoon and he just sits and watches Noah run around and play with his friends. It seems like he is getting over his fussiness and is liking us a little more!

Happy Holidays from the McDonald Elves

Click here to see a holiday greeting from your favorite family. (Spoiler: We are all dressed up as elves)

Update: I removed the auto loading of this funny holiday greeting from our page, since some of you might have sleeping children or real jobs where the blaring music might not be cool. Sorry to anyone that got fired for opening our page (if you got fired for that, then you needed a new job anyway) :)
