Jude tried the swings out at the park last week! He was pretty good at holding on and loved it! Most of the time he just sits and watches all of the big kids play so I think he was happy to finally get in on the fun. He is getting so big, so fast.
On another note, Jude and Noah welcomed a new friend to the world on Feb 25 in St. Louis. Alison and Chris delivered a healthy 10 pound, 6 ounce baby boy- Ethan!! We can't wait to meet him!

Fun, Fun, Fun
Sherry's friend Judi came to visit us this weekend from Virginia Beach. Even though Noah was getting over a virus, we managed to have a great weekend. We went to the beach Saturday afternoon and saw Dad's new office. We went to the zoo on Sunday afternoon. Noah loved all of the animals at the zoo and kept yelling "get closer mama". I don't think he understands why we couldn't walk right up to the elephants and jaguars! Daddy John and Noushin got a new puppy, George, over the weekend. He came by and visited Noah and Jude on Monday. George thought Jude's toes were delicious and Noah thought he was pretty cute! The weather has been great this week so we have been spending our afternoons at the park with all of Noah's friends.

Another Birthday!
Jude is 4 months old today! We went to the doctor this morning for his well baby checkup. He weighed in at 18 pounds, 10 ounces and is 27 inches tall. The doctor was very impressed with his size and said Jude is ready to start solid foods. We’re planning to try out some rice cereal later this week. Hopefully he’ll like it. Jude also got four shots and one oral vaccination. Noah behaved during the entire visit and declared “Jude Sad” after the nurse was done giving Jude his shots (and Jude was screaming)!

Yippee!
Noah turned the big TWO on Friday and we celebrated by having some of his friends over for a Sesame Street party. The weather was beautiful so we were able to hang out in the backyard the entire time! A few of our neighborhood friends were kind enough to bring over some of their outdoor toys to keep 12 two year olds entertained. Everyone also enjoyed Noah’s slide he got for Christmas from Grandma and Paw-paw. Everyone had a great time and surprisingly all of the 2 year olds played nicely together with minimal melt downs! We tried to get a picture with all of the little ones, but it was hard to get them all to line up at the same time. We also had a Big Bird / Elmo cake that Noah loved. Thanks to everyone that came over to help us celebrate, it really was a great day!
